Irondequoit

Our Irondequoit child care center has much to offer. Located within the Irondequoit school district, families of school age children can have school buses pick up and drop off from our center for before and after school care. This family friendly center provides a small center feel.

The outdoor play area is terrific for large motor skill development.

For children within the Rochester City School District, Generations offers a free Universal Pre-K Program.

A Word From Our Director:

I am so proud to be counted among the family of Generations teachers. Let me tell you a little bit about myself,  I have a vast and varied background when it comes to working in the child care industry.  First, and best of all, I have three children of my own, as well as a few stepchildren who are all grown up!

In addition to experience as a child care center Director, I have worked as a Licensor for in-home family child care and school-age programs and as a CPS Investigator/Caseworker, both of which give me a unique background when it comes to working in the child care industry. I went to school for Elementary Education and Special Education.  I have helped raise, nurture and potty train many children, and have experience with special needs children as well (including my own son).  Getting to know each and every child is my favorite part, and I am so looking forward to it!

A Word From Our Assistant Director:

Over the many years that I have been with Generations, this has become more than a company to me, more than a job; it has become like family and feels like home.  I am honored to be part of a team that provides high quality care for families in our community. As a parent myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave your child in someone else’s care, but at Generations, we are not strangers, we are loving, experienced staff that care for the children as if they were our own. We strive to ensure a safe, nurturing environment in which parents feel confident and comfortable leaving their children with each day.
