SW Rochester (St. John’s)

Our SW Rochester center is located on the St. John’s nursing home campus. Child care and elder care are brought together each week so classrooms get to experience intergenerational programming with residents of the nursing home.

Located next to The Highland Botanical Park, children have the opportunity of exploring nature at it’s best. The Lamberton Conservatory is within easy walking distance of our center- a perk we often take advantage of.

A Word From Our Assistant Director:

I have been part of the Generation’s family since the fall of 2000.  I started out as a SACC teacher at our Fairport location and moved my way up to a Lead teacher and then Classroom Coordinator & Enrollment Specialist while attaining my Bachelors and Masters Degrees at Nazareth College of Rochester. In addition to working for Generations, I substitute taught for local school districts for a number of years.

I have two young boys of my own and two teen aged step-daughters. My kids undoubtedly keep me on my toes daily. Being a mom I understand the importance of a caring and nurturing relationship and work diligently to supply this to the families I serve. I enjoy being able to help people and deliver high quality care. I work hard to provide memorable child care experiences for our young ones by being in constant communication with our parents and by orchestrating monthly inter-generational visits and visits from our local librarian for story time. I love working with children and am proud be part of the St. John’s team!
