Choosing how your children spend their summer is an important decision. Parents often find themselves with difficult choices during the summer months due to an increased need for activities designed to keep their children safe, healthy, and busy during the summer vacation. At Generations, we understand that children love to play, explore, and create. We also understand the financial decisions that families face while trying to choose what programs are in their children’s best interest.

Generations Summer Adventure 4 Kids provides a great way to learn new skills and experience exciting summer fun all in a positive and nurturing environment. Join us for all ten weeks or choose certain weeks that coordinate with YOUR summer schedule! We offer quality programming, trained professional staff, and unlimited action. Summer Camp Theme Weeks

Animal Planet (June 25 – 29)

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! We love all types of animals! Come spend the week learning about fascinating animals from around the world- to those right in your very own backyard. This week will feature special visitors, some furry and some not! Our animal themed fun is endless as we create habitats, sing songs and play the games of our furry friends. What’s your favorite animal?

Stars and Stripes (July 2 – July 6)

Let’s celebrate this all-American week with the traditions of this wonderful country. We will display our patriotism with a red, white and blue firework mural, sing songs about this land and end the week on a high note with our family baseball game, hot dogs and- new this year- our weekly carnival! *Closed July 4th.

Nature Kids (July 9 -July 13)

Come enjoy the wonders and adventures of the outdoors with friends! We will become expert explorers of nature as we use a true hands-on approach to learning. A nature scavenger hunt and visit to a local nature center will be the highlight of the week along with our picnic, s’mores and more! Don’t forget our camp time cook out! So much to enjoy in the great outdoors.

Hawaiian Hullabaloo (July 16 – July 20)

Aloha! Come to the beautiful island of Hawaii with us, no suitcases necessary! We will use our imaginations to take our trip to this fascinating island filled with beautiful waters, volcanoes, flowers, music, friends and more. We will make erupting volcanoes and recreate the coral reefs and the friends that live within them. There is fun all around when learning the dances of the Hawaiian culture and cooling off in the Hawaiian springs. We will end our week by sharing our experience and adventures in our performance of “Our Hawaiian Vacation!”

Who’s in the Kitchen? (July 23 – July 27)

Who’s in the kitchen? You are! Come spend this delicious week making recipes that will satisfy everyone’s tastes. Cooking is a life skill that allows us to be independent, creative and successful. If your child has a passion for cooking or loves to help you prepare meals in the kitchen, they will enjoy every moment of this week as they are guided through the process of food safety, preparation and creation. Chef hats on as we enjoy our end of the week cook off! Yum!

World Travelers (July 30 – Aug 3)

Come travel the world with us as we explore the music, art, food, fashion and traditions of other cultures! It is a fascinating adventure to learn about the world around us. We will create passports for travel and visit new places each day. We will learn about the world as we create paper mache globes and choose countries to represent to our peers. We will learn native games and create souvenirs to take home and share with our families!

Experiments of the Universe (Aug 6 – Aug 10)

Super Hero Adventures (Aug 13 – Aug 17)

Everyone will work together with their super hero powers to defeat the camp villain! Our superhero role models will help us create our own identities and strengths as we complete special obstacle courses and race along with our friends. We will learn our favorite super hero theme songs and movements too! You never know who may fly in for a surprise visit this week!

Generations’ Got Talent (Aug 20 – Aug 24)

There is something for everyone in our annual Generations Got Talent show! Whether singing, dancing, magic, karate or gymnastics is your style, we want to show case it all. We will work together to create our own set design and costumes. Then we will set the stage on fire at our Friday performance for families! You don’t want to miss it!

Last Splash (Aug 27 – Aug 31)

Bring your camp spirit for a wet and wild week as we say goodbye to Summer and hello to fall. We will enjoy some of our favorite camp time activities as we enjoy water play every day. Sprinklers, water balloons, camp time races and more! We will learn about other water friends and have fun in the sun as we celebrate the final days of Summer vacation. See ya later alligator!
